The SONNTAG Group retroactively implements a voluntary wage or salary increase effective May 1, 2024, until an agreement is reached by the collective bargaining parties for all wage groups. The training compensation will also increase.
The management is clearly behind its employees: "We do not want the current collective bargaining conflict to be at your expense. Therefore, as a sign of recognition for your outstanding performance and as an expression of our appreciation, we have decided to grant a voluntary wage increase."
Starting in May 2024, the group will grant a temporary flat-rate increase in the base salary of 250,-- € gross per month. For trainees, such an increase of 70,-- € gross per month will be implemented.
This flat-rate salary increase will end with the coming into force of a new collective agreement for commercial employees or a collective agreement for salaries of employees and foremen, as well as training compensations for trainees. If the relevant collective agreement comes into force retroactively or provides for payments for the past, a full accounting of the increase and any one-time payments resulting from the relevant collective agreement will be made retroactively against the aforementioned voluntary salary increase (the relevant collective agreement is the collective agreement under which the employment relationship would fall according to the personal scope in case of collective bargaining).
This way, the decisions of the bargaining partners can be awaited without disadvantage to the employees. The SONNTAG Group thanks its employees for their daily commitment with this transitional solution.
