As part of this holistic environmental and energy management, the company's goals are the continuous development and optimization of quality, environmental and occupational safety, product safety, and last but not least, economic efficiency, as well as the improvement of environmental and energy-related performance. This policy provides the framework for defining and reviewing our environmental and energy goals.
Energy Management Team
To achieve the goals, management has appointed representatives who form the EnM team and provides the necessary resources and information. All employees are encouraged to participate, pay attention to energy and resource efficiency, and direct suggestions for savings to the EnM team.
Improvement of Environmental and Energy-Related Performance
SONNTAG is actively committed to environmental protection and aims to keep the environmental impacts resulting from business activities as low as possible or to avoid them altogether. The goal is to align ecology, energy efficiency, and economy with the help of the EM and EnM. Through constant monitoring of environmentally and energy-relevant activities, weaknesses are identified, energy wasters detected, and appropriate corrective measures for permanent improvement initiated.
