Special deep construction

Large Rotary Drilling Rigs

With our 4 large rotary drilling rigs in the classes 60 - 120 t, bore piles with a diameter of up to 150 cm can be installed in the ground. Depending on the construction measure and substrate, we work with the more precise technique of cased bore piles or with the more cost-effective variant of uncased piles.

Our brand new LIEBHERR LB35 delivers a torque of 350 kNm. The special feature of the 112 t heavy machine is the equipment for the double-head drilling method. This technique offers a combination of continuous auger drilling and continuous casing. The double-head drilling technique reduces construction times and enables us to consistently meet increasingly tight deadlines in complex pipe jacking projects today and in the future. In addition, we carry out SOB drilling with long hollow augers and use special methods such as soil mixing, VdW, and displacement drilling.

A pile wall is used as a waterproof support for securing deep excavations, as a deep foundation for structures, in flood protection, when creating launch and target pits for underground pipe jacking, as well as for slope and uplift stabilization.

Anchor Drilling Rig

This device can also be manufactured under the most difficult conditions due to the 360° swivel angle:

  • Gewi anchors
  • Ischebeck anchors
  • Blast hole drilling

SONNTAG covers a wide range in specialist foundation engineering with its own skilled personnel and machines. For years, we have been working in the support technology with various devices and techniques (see service spectrum: Support Technology).
