Drilling rig "Marion" just before the start of the Rheindüker Köln mission, Mülheimer Brücke. The approximately 100 tons heavy drill head also looks quite impressive. "Marion" will then follow 161 drive pipes made of reinforced concrete on its way under the Rhine. Each individual pipe has an imposing outer diameter of 3.40 m, a pipe length of 4.00 m, and a weight of 30 tons.
