In the city, all the pieces fit! There are several reasons why it took six months less than anticipated, according to lead civil engineer Peter Esch: "We were working with a particularly professional construction company; we had the best site manager available to the Civil Engineering Office for Sewer Construction; and we had the perfect conditions for carrying out the works. With a less professional company or under less favourable conditions in terms of underground, such projects can look very different."
