Smooth sailing in Steyr/Austria, our southern neighbour
To construct a new underground sewer system, SONNTAG travelled all the way to Upper Austria. Tabor, a densely populated residential area in the city of Steyr, had commissioned us to drive a new tunnel. At 240 m in length, the tunnel (SB-VT pipes DN 1600) led us through a 14% slope and through rocky formations with erratic boulders. In spite of these challenging ground conditions, however, we were able to deliver the project on schedule.
